Kappa Week 2021

Focused on the "Total Well-Being" of Kappa Men May 19 - May 27, 2021

Kappa Week 2021 begins Sunday, May 23rd with Sunday Worship Service led by Pastor Darrian A. Brown Sr. of Rome Emmanuel Baptist Church and ends with a triple header of A free, innovative work out, Smoking with the Nupes cooking tutorial and a bonus event "Battle of the DJs" on Saturday, May 29th.
Gun Violence and Black Men's Mental Health are public health crises that have disproportionately impacted our community. On Thursday, May 27th we host a webinar panel of public officals and community leaders moderated by Attorney & Radio Host Michael Coard to discuss what comes next.

We will celebrate 99 years of the Philadelphia Alumni of Kappa Alpha Psi with a virtual Brothers Only Fellowship on Tuesday, May 25th.
A forum about Supporting Vision Impaired Family will be held on Monday May 24th and a virtual tutorial about Dress and Dining Etiquette for formal and informal events. On Friday May 28th we are hosting a virtual Comedy Show and an expert panel to help Parents understand the Sports Recruiting Process.

All events are virtual to ensure safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

About The Philadelphia (PA) Alumni Chapter (NE) of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

The Philadelphia Alumni of Kappa Alpha Psi is lead by Polemarch Damian S. Jackson, Esq.. Philadelphia Alumnithe oldest alumni chapter in the Northeastern Province of Alumni Chapter, carries the large chapter designation and is the 2021 Northeastern Province Large Alumni Chapter of the Year. Our feature programs include, but are not limited to:

  • The Achievement Academy, Our black male youth mentoring program
  • Senior Kappa Affairs Committee, a committee number almost 100 members who are 60 years of age
  • The Achievement Foundation, a 501(c)3 that sponsors a variety of scholarships and programs
